You have sung that old song for too long; and it is time to sing a new song. From the beginning of creation, God arranged the things he created to follow times and seasons. You may want to ask: how and why does this statement sound so definite? This is so because the story of creation follows a sequence from the first day to the sixth day: the last day of creation before God rested. Each stage of creation ended with: This is a pointer to the fact that God works with times and seasons. Furthermore, it is an indication that God created the earth in an orderly manner; and, for each creation, there is a purpose. Our God is not an author of confusion. As we go deeper, we will discover that, for each time and season on this earth, there is a purpose.
